Why Families Trust Compass
The care your loved one deserves — thoughtful, personal, and grounded in real experience.
Back to HomeWhat Sets Compass Apart
Clinical Expertise
Our nursing team is led by a geriatrician and comprises registered nurses with specialist training in elderly care, chronic conditions, and palliative support.
Individualised Care Plans
No two residents follow the same programme. Each care plan is built around the person's medical, dietary, social, and emotional needs — and revised as circumstances change.
Consistent Staff
We invest in retaining our caregivers. Familiar faces create trust, reduce anxiety, and allow staff to notice subtle changes in a resident's wellbeing early.
Flexible Respite Options
Our Planned Respite Stay can be scheduled on a recurring basis. This gives family caregivers regular intervals of rest — without disrupting the care their loved one receives.
Therapeutic Programmes
Our Music & Memory Day Programme draws on the relationship between familiar music and emotional recall, offering joy and connection for individuals living with memory-related conditions.
Open-Door Family Policy
Family members are welcome to visit daily, join meals, and take part in activities. We believe that the bond between residents and their families should be nurtured, not restricted.
A Team You Can Rely On
Compass employs registered nurses and certified care aides who undergo continuous professional development. Our Medical Director, a practising geriatrician, provides clinical oversight and ensures that protocols reflect current best practices in elder care. Staff work in consistent shift patterns so residents see the same faces day after day — this reduces confusion, builds rapport, and helps caregivers spot changes in mood or health that might otherwise go unnoticed.
A Home, Not a Facility
We have designed our spaces to feel warm and lived-in rather than clinical. Living areas feature natural lighting, comfortable furnishings, and personal display areas where residents can keep photographs, keepsakes, and other items that make a room feel like their own. Communal spaces are arranged to encourage socialising without forcing it — there are quiet corners for reading, shared tables for meals, and a garden-facing lounge for morning tea.
Genuine Service, Not a Script
Our staff are encouraged to spend unhurried time with residents — to listen, to chat, and to understand what matters to each person. We do not treat care as a checklist. When a resident has a difficult day, we adjust. When a family has concerns, we respond with honesty and respect. We know that trust is built slowly, and we are patient with that process.
Transparent and Inclusive Pricing
Our monthly and weekly rates include all meals, personal care, nursing support, and access to social activities and amenities. There are no hidden fees for basic services. Pricing may vary for residents who need higher levels of clinical support, and we discuss this openly before any commitment is made. We also assist families with enquiries about MediSave, CareShield Life, or other applicable support schemes in Singapore.
Measurable Wellbeing Outcomes
We track each resident's progress through regular health reviews, mood assessments, and family feedback. Care plans are updated quarterly — or sooner if a change in condition warrants it. Families receive written summaries of their loved one's wellbeing and are invited to participate in review meetings. This structured approach helps us catch issues early and adapt care before small problems become large ones.

What Makes Us Different
Recurring Respite Model
Unlike most providers who offer respite on an ad hoc basis, Compass lets families schedule recurring stays — one week every two months, for example. This builds routine and familiarity for the guest while ensuring the family caregiver gets dependable rest.
Personalised Music Therapy
Families can share playlists of songs that hold personal meaning for their loved one. Our music therapist uses these playlists alongside group sessions to create moments of genuine recognition and joy — especially for those living with memory-related conditions.
Quarterly Wellbeing Reviews
Every three months, we produce a written summary of each resident's physical health, emotional state, and social engagement. Families are invited to review meetings where they can ask questions, voice concerns, and help shape the next phase of care.
Family as Partners
At Compass, families are not just visitors — they are partners in care. We share updates openly, welcome feedback, and encourage participation in daily routines and activities. This collaborative approach helps residents feel connected and supported from all sides.
