1. Definitions

"Services" refers to residential nursing care, planned respite stays, the Music & Memory Day Programme, and any related offerings. "User," "you," or "your" refers to any person accessing our website or engaging our services. "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions together with any service-specific arrangements agreed in writing.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are acting on behalf of a family member or ward, you confirm that you have appropriate authority to do so.
3. Description of Services
Compass provides elderly care services in Singapore, including full-time residential nursing care, short-term planned respite stays, and a specialised Music & Memory Day Programme. The specific scope, terms, and pricing for each service are described on our website and in any written care agreements entered into between you and Compass. Services are subject to availability and may vary depending on individual care needs.
4. Enquiries and Admission
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a commitment or contract. Admission to any programme is subject to an assessment conducted by our care team. We reserve the right to decline admission if we determine that we cannot adequately meet a prospective resident's care needs. Any care arrangement is formalised through a separate written agreement.
5. User Responsibilities
When using our website, you agree to provide accurate information in any forms you submit, to use the website only for lawful purposes, and not to attempt to interfere with the website's functionality or security. When engaging our care services, you agree to provide truthful and complete medical and personal information during assessments, to communicate any changes in the resident's condition promptly, and to comply with the house rules and visitor guidelines of our facility.
6. Payment Terms
Fees for our services are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Current programme fees are listed on our website and confirmed in writing before any service begins. Payment is due in advance according to the billing cycle agreed upon in your care contract. Late payments may incur administrative charges as specified in the care agreement. We will notify you of any fee adjustments at least 30 days in advance.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
For the Planned Respite Stay, cancellations made at least 14 days before the scheduled stay will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days may be subject to a partial charge. For the Music & Memory Day Programme, monthly enrolments may be cancelled with 14 days' written notice before the next billing period. For the Guided Nursing Residence, termination terms are set out in the individual care agreement. Refund arrangements, if applicable, are handled on a case-by-case basis.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design elements — is the property of Compass or its content suppliers and is protected under Singapore's intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission. You are granted a non-transferable right to view and use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You agree to indemnify and hold Compass harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our website, or the provision of inaccurate information during the admission or care process.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website if we believe you have breached these Terms. Termination of care services is governed by the individual care agreement. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive any termination.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. We encourage parties to attempt to resolve any disagreements informally before pursuing legal action.
14. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Compass regarding the use of our website and, together with any written care agreement, the provision of our services. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without your prior consent.
